Any news on new commanders for US and OKW

I would have expected them to have new commanders out for them by now.

God knows OKW needs something that shakes up the way they are played. I know urban breakout was found in the game files a while back but I haven't heard anything else.

Have I missed something or don't we know whats coming down the line?

Wouldn't you rather see the existing ones brought up to par with the others?

Well that certainly would not hurt.
I kinda like most of the US commanders, most of them affect how the game plays out in a noticeable way, so for them it is mostly a matter of polish. And more would simply be some new options.

To be fair OKW is in kind of a bad spot structurally, and a commander that shakes things up would be more of a band aid... But I see that sort of bandaid as more realistic than a proper rework (Of either the faction or basically all the commanders)

I know what I would really want to happen with OKW... But its just a dream
A thread about broken dreams, or not

There will be new commanders for US/OKW. When is anyones guess though. After AA I thought that they would release a couple of new commanders but they have been releasing patches everyone was asking for, bugs/balance, etc. This summer should be interesting though, we know that the British will be making an appearance through some file digging, and new multiplayer content is on the way, and I bet that some new commanders will be released.

That would certainly be something Relic should focus on for all factions, also fixing single abilities even on the already better commander choices (even they have some useless abilities in them, you just pick the commander then for 1-2 abilities of the 5 that you actually want), however for USF and OKW 1-2 more commanders would also not hurt.

If file digging would be reliable source, then where is Panzer III which is found in files since early release days?

Not saying it won't happen, but better not hold to that.

I heard there will be the "space marines relieve infantry" for ostheer and the "SU 76 Lasgun" upgrade for Soviet.

I really would love to see a overhaul (nerf, buffs) to all commanders.

Ranger is most likely candidate for a new USF commander, Pershing...I dont think so.

With the file digging, I meant the store information that was found in the new patch, the custom commanders, ability packs, etc. One of the packs mentioned British commander ability packs, so many people were basing that British would be coming from that info.

They specifically said there wasn't going to be any new content in the march 31st patch. And they are working on DoW3 now.

False.

They haven't announced anything and they refuse to talk about what's being worked on because they know if they just told everyone "Were done with COH2, sorry" the entire community would just throw it's hands up in the air and quit.
