relic design in start WFA release pack howi ISG and scott should fire in direct fire
is good performance for counter blob
but when battle in uber map it only hit crack building ineffective shot
relic fix by set fire in arced projectile in 9/9/57 patch and that why mortar do it better

Scott and brummbar not have problem because their close range fire low arc projectile
but pack and ISG min range 40 I think too slow for hit moving soldier

PACK howi also got lowest range out of all stock indirect fire units(ISG having the most).

PACK howi feels like 60 to me.
I literally got good return on it once, over 60 kills after 30 minutes of almost constant shooting.

I would like to point out that the pack howitzer can only utilise it's maximum range when barraging. Even then, it only fires three shells, with a horrid scatter at max range and has an incredibly long cooldown. You cannot effectively 'pound' a medic/flak/repair truck at a safe distance when you have to wait 45 seconds for only three shells which will miss more than likely. Even when the shells do hit, the sturmpioneer can repair the damage in a matter of seconds.

I feel for a unit of 480 mp, with an 80 fuel tech gate and a clearly broken reinforce cost, the Pack howi should have a significant cool down reduction, to emphasize that the barrage is supposed to be the it's strong/selling point.

I've been trying to pass 1,400% eff. with the Kappa Howitzer and today I did it! All of the vehicle damage was against Panthers. I still lost the match but it was a close one on road to Cutoff vs. rank 400 OKW.

Just get it vision with pathfinders, beacons, riflemen flares, recon runs... USF has an insane amount of vision.

Hehe here's another screenshot from my 1v1's today:

It's really situational in 1v1's and only gets better the bigger the game gets. This was vs. a guy who had two Jagd Panzer bulletins on Langres so I knew he'd be campy.

Also if you see an opponent go LEIG it is amazing. The LEIG sucks ass vs. Pack Howitzer.

Pack howie does damn well in 2v2 wtf are u talking about. Amis are already OP vs infantry as it is. They have rifles, howi, airborne, and scot. It's ridiculous. No more effin infantry weapon buffs for Amis, only tanks and I hardly think they need that

OI find the pack howitzer a very annoying unit when the enemy (or AI) uses it, always seen to hit. I only really use them because I uusually have more MP to spare than fuel for an M8 Scott. If I were to choose the M1 over the mortar HT or Priest, then obviously the M1 is ditched since it's capabilities aren't equal to what the latter two offer.

Yeah the pack howitzer isn't very good. It has inaccurate barrages, dies easily, and is generally far too expensive for what it provides. If it was a bit cheaper to build/reinforce and had a little bit better accuracy it would be in a better place.

I think that even the Su76 is better than the Pack howitzer.

How the...what the...

But the Quick Sherman cannot coexist with the Captain!

I really dont get how you can make your Howi actually kill anything. Mine never does. It just dies..and bleed me upkeep...

A lower, almost instant cooldown on the barrage would go a long way.

You can't rush Easy8 call-ins.

Well I guess you could by throwing your troops at the enemy constantly so you can boost the CP gain with non-stop fighting...but either way you'd probably have enough fuel for an E8 in addition to the Captain if you got an even share of the map by the time you had enough CP.

(If that was a joke, I'm afraid I didn't find it very funny)

If it would be in LT Tier, it might be better?

This way you could bleed infantry over time more properly, like the ISG does (sometimes, okay... rarely)

In alpha the Pack Howitzer and the .50 machine gun were swapped and it made perfect sense. Lt. tier already has suppression from the M15 AA half-track. The change makes absolutely no sense.
