Are you, too, fed up with all the blobs running around?
I got a simple solution for that:
Call them something else!
I selected a few possible alternatives straight from the wonderous world of animals.
Instead of typing "garden your gardening volks blob" over and over again, you can now say:
"Oh nice sounder you got there!" or "Thats the biggest intrusion ive ever seen"
Asses Pace, Herd, Drove
Beavers Colony, Family
Bullocks Drove
Cockroaches Intrusion
Crocodiles Bask, Float
Greyhounds Leash (for all the m8 spammers, if there are any)
Hyenas Cackle, Clan
Insects Horde, Nest, Swarm, Rabble, Plague
Lice Flock
Pheasants Nest, Nye
Pigs Drift, Drove
Pigs (Swine) Sounder
Rats Colony, Pack, Plague, Swarm
Swallows Flight, Gulp
Vultures Venue
Worms Bed, Clew, Bunch, Clat

I don't feel like this would soothe my passive aggression towards this game but most blobs just look like an incoherent mess of unit symbols and rocket-launchers. It's simply just a amalgamated 'blob' of BS slowly crawling it's way towards you.
At least in the animal kingdom herds, packs, flocks, etc all appear to have independent movement and thinking in the individual parts. A CoH blob has no intelligence or free will, only orders from the hivemind...maybe the insect terms apply somewhat...

i associate "mob" with the mafia, so thats too cool for a blob
i prefer to use something that is void of all that is human.
if playing a jewish or muslim person calling his blob sounder (swine) or pack (dog) might actually offend them
im pretty sure there are other animals that offend certain ethnicities/nationalities/personalities
a cluster (spiders) might even scare people who suffer from arachnophobia
gosh, ive really invested too much thought into this

i stated in many threads that blobs dont work very well imo (unless its price using them
