As US and OKW it usually comes down to macro mistakes. I just haven't played with the factions enough to be sure of what I want to do or how to counter an opponent's build.
As Ostheer I usually lose from micro when my mg is 2 degrees out of position and gets swarmed by rifles. Then my grens are forced to retreat and in one engagement my fate has been sealed. So yeah....

squad wipe happen to often after patch, infantry just loves hug together and get one shot by mortar/mines/tanks, and nades are so much harder to doge(input delay)
First off all. Tripwire so gud, 10 ammo for a whole dead squad ? + sight.
Vehicle capture point can win games, blitzkrieg save a tank. Fair Deal i think

Mainly? Interface lag, misclicks, control fumbles, and by getting bored/fed up with the same gorramn stagnant strategies and just using units/commanders I want to use for once.
I'd say RNG, but that also helps me win games too. It's at best neutral. At best. Win or lose, it often takes the wind out of many a game's enjoyment.

My biggest Macro mistake is probably playing Allies in the first place...

Sometimes I click the wrong thing, press the wrong button. Sometimes this happens often enough to contribute to a loss.
Most of the time it's because I have difficulty effectively controlling multiple units at different ends of the map at late game.
Almost all of the time it's because my opponent is simply better and can capitalise on my mistakes/weaknesses.

1. Because I play Ostheer and get matched against USF players of equal Skill who build any kind of light vehicle.
2. Because for once I don't want to use the Tiger./any other unusual strategy.
3. 10 second freezes that cost me my Sniper and vetted LMG Gren.

One important factor OP forgot to include, the horrible map design, I've seen a lot of loses when ppl spawn at north of the Moscow outskirt, both live game and my experince. North Spawn of Moscow outskirt=doomed both for allied and axis,
and thank god they remove the Reznov Summer from the ranked match, I hope they give us more veto, the maps in COH2 are horrible, asymmetrical map is good but asymmetrical chock point and access to resources are stupid

Micro. Keep losing harassing squads because I forget about them and they run into obers or something. I should probably use the keypad shortcuts more then i do too, which brings down my command time too.
I can stratagise and adapt with the best of them, but I would never enter a tourney or anything knowing they could out micro me anyday.
