In team games surrender voting gets stuck after everyone voted, really frustrating having to wait VPs to run out.
Happens to me too often.

That has happened to me several times.
Until the person who requested the vote leaves the game.
After leaving everything returns to normal.

i've had this happen. sometimes i just drop, sometimes i don't. depends almost entirely on my teammates and how badly the game is going.

No. If you quit you won't get anything from the already broken war spoils. Sometimes you want to surrender after like 30-40 minutes, you should be able to surrender.

im still getting this from time to time
if anyone cares, might help to say that it seems like one of voters double clicks his vote which triggers another voting that gets stuck..

Still a bug, can confirm. Also don't quit games if you want to protect your trust rating or your spoils. Better to stay and fight to the bitter end. You need not continue to build units though.

Another facet of this bug is that if you call a surrender vote and it gets stuck, but you then go on to win the match (VPs, enemy surrenders, or base destroyed), the game ends with a defeat screen and it's recorded as a loss in stats.
Seeing as the stuck surrender vote happens about 1 in 3 times, and in team games there are surrender votes all the time, it's pretty lame that this has never been addressed IN THREE YEARS of this bug being raised.

That is the worst. Pull off a massive comeback and it doesn't count for anything.
