We are unable to build caches, but Grenadiers can build bunkers and Sturms can salvage

Tech structure will be similar to OKH, but costs will not necessarily be the same

I am skipping over Light Tank here and will come back to it later.

There has been recently some unrelated work on "Tank Destroyers" albeit in a different sense to the one I shall use

Instead I shall go straight to medium tank.

What will be the bread and butter armour unit?

This is again somewhat arbitrary, but I've taken the base as the lightest vehicles that did not make it into the last poll (Luchs, T-70, Stuart) and capped it out at the Panther.

If the Panther gets in, then the KV-1 should too despite nominally being a Heavy; and I have included things like the KV-8 and Brummbar because they don't count up with the heavies

Pure Tank destroyers with no AI are not in here

Surprised the Panzer IV is ahead, considering for just 10 fuel more you have the far superior Easy Eight.

Most vehicles are going to overlap in more than one option.

There will be a "Light AFV" poll at some point, which will take the largest stuff from the previous poll and the smallest ones from this one

The Stuart is there, 5th one down.

P4, you have Puma and Pak for AT so you don't neccesarily need the extra AT from E8. The 85s was a close call if not for its late arrival.

This is tough for me

I loves my KV1s, especially as how there will be a true heavy tank in the faction

My head though says Panther or 34/85

Sherman M4 by far. He is so good considering his AOE is much better than the t-34/76 and panzer IV.

the faction is gonna be pretty bad in practice, I think

You have
sturmpios- expensive, no flamethrower
grenadiers- good late game, early on pretty subpar
120mm Mortar- good but very expensive
MG42- No comment

So you end up with a faction that's pretty much wehrmacht, but worse against any kind of garrison camping rifle/conspam with no flamethrower and an unaffordable mortar- and wehr already has a hard time vs that. Add to that an expensive light vehicle with little anti-infantry power and elite infantry that you have to tech for, unlike paratroopers or shocks- I think regular rifles to M20 or conspam to call-ins/T70 will beat this faction handily.

Panzer IV perfectly combines great AI and good AT, gets an actual useful vet 1 ability and scales to lategame thanks to the armored skirts at vet 2. It also comes at a time when you want your medium tank.

oh, well then stuart shouldn't be on the list and i shouldn't have voted for it. although a stuart with pumas would be decent and cheap.
