It still has potential if covered well. If not, then you can really surprise it with its pants down.

It's not that big of a deal really. The problem was (and still is) accuracy and damage against infantry. Reduce the AoE and increase the scatter.

i was always wondering why they couldnt keep the old isu but making it less accurate versus infantry. Seems like it is a lot easier to implement

That was my point, ammo. You have figue out what shells are in use.

Not just easier, but also better balance-wise IMO. Look at IS2 for example, it's good against both armor and infantry, but its not like ISU (I know the guns are different and everything, I'm just talking about balance here). It does sometimes wipe infantry but not that often, so you have time to react.

Well, its not 'always anti all' anymore and at any given time there is a hardcounter that you can just frontally bumrush.
Please tell me what this counter is, that is available at "any given time"

Had a game with the ISU last night and it felt completely off, was asking the rest players if it was changed an everybody was no, it was not.

Had a game with the ISU last night and it felt completely off, was asking the rest players if it was changed an everybody was no, it was not.
It was a ninja change. Nothing is really changed, but now you have to chose ammo type for ISU (HE or AT shells) which has a 11 seconds cool down.
