There will be so much russian tears on the forum :D:D:D

Why? I believe both changes were welcomed by most players.

Well, this looks great. Much better changes than the beta-click-to-fire idea. AP and HE rounds make the ISU152 a lot more vulnerable to assaults and the removal of shot-block-ignoring rounds on the JT will make the unit a lot easier to handle on cluttered maps.

Do the ISU and the JT fire at will again or only when ordered to as it has been in the last weeks?

The change to only fire when ordered was reversed a while ago, wasnt it only in the beta?

probably should switch to ap when you know there are tanks. HE is really bad at penetrating tanks, unless you are using your ISU strictly for AI duties

HE as "standard" is the best option IMO:
1. There are much more targets to fire at.
2. Hitting infantry results in instant MP bleed, while damaging vehicles does not.
3. Your cons AT nades / mines can slow down approaching tanks, and the ISU has enough armor and health so it can afford a delay.

I for sure will use it with HE and only switch to AP on a situational basis ^^

In my point of view neither PAK43 should be ale to fire through shot blockers, BUT if it's changed this way, it should receive a WIDER FIRE ARC. Now these 2 changes I would like to see related to it.

Sigh. And how I wish that would be possible. But they won't remove anything from game.

Just FYI people, due to the way it's coded, Jagdtiger Penetrating Shot (and Concrete Piercing) will one-shot any uncrewed vehicle. So if you happen to know where an American has parked his tank for repairs and you are close enough, you can snipe it in one hit without warning.

Didn't they remove russian's barbwire which forced units to lie down and crawl underneath it ? Or it was still beta?

So does the Jagdtiger cost the same/ does it still get crewshocked with every penetrating hit?

Possibly because it will alienate a specific bunch of the fanbase. No other reason to hide the changes.

It's bad practice.

I thought this would also solve a lot of problems. It would also make perfect sense... From 1000 meters away, what is easier to hit: a panther or a few soldiers? So shooting at targets super close would be successful, but at infantry at max range would be very difficult.

Unless the panther is stationary, I would say infantry is easier to hit given good optics and the fact it´s enough for the shot to land somewhere in the general area around the infantry to have them die by aoe damage.
