the stuart has pretty terrible dps against everything due to a combination of poor accuracy and abysmal fire rate. it's got an AoE profile slightly better than most dedicated AT weapons. right now it soft counters ATless infantry (it works similar to the V against infantry) and soft counters vehicles. it's only redeeming factor right now is shell shock, which is pretty good with a hard at source.

part of the problem is the low dps and part of it is that terrible accuracy. as far as i can tell a single shrek volks will beat the stuart. given its cost i think it deserves a general dps increase but especially so against infantry. this could be from a better aoe profile (doesn't effect its AV), faster fire rate, or better accuracy.

it doesn't need much more dps and i don't think it needs any other changes but the stuart is pretty lackluster for its cost.

It wants to be jack of all trades and generalist tank of light armor.

It got poor mobility, poor health, poor RoF, performs poorly against AI and other armor.

Pretty much a T34/76 of light armor.

well jack of all trades would imply that it's actually decent at all of those things it does, which it doesnt.

I'd love to see this vehicle get some love.

It's also too fragile.

Make it at least partially effective against the Puma, for AI purposes, we got sherman.

The Stuart crit ability used to be awesome and reliable for stunning heavy tanks or reliably setting AT traps. Now the unit just sucks. I think it comes out at a good time but it needs a serious buff to be worth it. Getting 70 fuel worth of damage out of it just doesn't happen. Or if the shrek blob gets nerfed maybe that would work.

i have no issues with the mobility or health. they're meh but it's a light tank and i accept that. it's one my favorite units, partly because it's a tiny tank. at least it could kill things if it had a dps increase.

it takes as long for a stuart to kill a wurfrahmen as it does for one shrek volk to kill it, this includes both of the missing a couple times, some at point blank range. the stuart also does not have smoke.

the crit ability i've never seen work; maybe it just takes more than 5 seconds to fire. the stun shot works fine.

No, it's not because it's targeting infantry.

On the other hand... Luchs - 345/50 :lolol:

tell it to attack tank, activate shell shock. if activating shell shock fucks up the targeting priority than activate shell shock, target tank. i have no issues with it although i've seen others mention that problem.

Swap it for the chaffee

Cynthia posted a video with the recording of some tanks sound:

We can see on 0:25 a M24 Chaffee being recorded :huhsign:

They need to add it instead of the Stuart. As I said on another thread also it was supposed to replace the Stuart in 1944.

Back to topic, the Stuart it's made of thin paper and it's way too expensive on Fuel. By the time it arrives there is too much AT that just kill it almost instantly, Stun shot targets infantry and crit ability doesn't work at all because by the time it is about to shoot it has been killed already by Schrecks blob.

I like to use it versus Osther though.

i think stewart could use more AI power since its stun shots and engine crit shots are good v. tanks.

Stuart - 240 MP 70 F

Stug III tech cost: 560MP 125F
Stuart tech cost: 200MP 80F

if you're looking at direct unit cost, the fact that it costs the same as the Scott is just as egregious... that being said, the stuart has really terrible damage output. It could be dropped to 50 fuel and I don't think anyone would really mind.

Currently it feels like it is too expensive to be disposable or spammable, too little health to survive AT weapons, too little speed and acceleration to avoid said antitank weapons, not enough firepower to hit and run before the AT can reface, and it can't even wipe squads on retreat properly which even the greyhound can do.

Oh crap I missed that they record the Chaffe!!! Fingers crossed for it in AA and toes crossed for the M18 Hellcat to make its way to COH2.
