Is anyone playing this game with steady 60 fps?

If you are, please post your computer specs. Also post what settings you are running it on please.

Note that it is for "playing" this game, not running the performance test. Steady fps means no major fps drops in huge fights with much explosions and even in larger game modes.

How do you check that?

Running the game along with Fraps for example? There are surely other programs that allow you to display you fps in game.

Actually playing with steady FPS in this game its impossible(from early to late game). Usually you get 1/3 less FPS than you start with and you jump 10-15 FPS constantly.

It's not impossible. If you always have a little more than 60 fps you will always get that number on a 60hz monitor.

But for the sake of the thread it doesn't really matter if you have a steady 50 fps or something similar, I am more curious about what computer people have that actually play this game flawless.

Yeah I get 60 fps, for some reason my graphics card starts working really hard on the victory strike screen though

Probably could with AA turned down, but run about ~43ish avg in actual gameplay.

It's fine on my old i5-2500 7970 at 2560x1440. Textures max, snow medium, other settings high, no AA. I put vsync on too since the frame rate is high enough. It's not totally flawless though - it does weird lockups occasionally even when there's no action going on (such as early game). It's probably more related to lag than performance though.

All maxed but AA low

I have an i7 and a 780 and I run the game at about 30fps highest settings. It drops to around 15-20 when I am streaming and there's a blizzard or big engagement.

I find it really hard to believe anyone is achieving constant 60fps without a Titan or something.

I'd be curious about your GPU load.

Example:

all 3v3 games, the larger peaks at the end of every match were the Victory Strikes.
(Try AIDA64 for this, set update rate to 60 seconds)

its best to use low end graphics like gtx 680, 590, 580, 570, 660, 670, or any low end/average graphics cards since this game is poorly optimized. Not all high end graphics can give you best performance with coh2.

On a gtx780 and CANNOT get constant 60 fps. So sad. If anyone finds a divine solution that does not involve getting a 980 or overclocking to 7000ghz I'd be eternally grateful.

2560x1440 monitor
i7 4770
8 gig of ram
R9 290x
Everything on max but medium AA

And the fps doesn't get that much higher than 60
