With the new squad cover mechanics, I've noticed the M8 does lots of damage, BARs are better, etc. Is the US back? I like playing as them but lately have been a little disheartened. I guess not as much has changed with their AT stuff? I think I could live with that, though.

Wait, I forgot about the Kubel... well, it's bigger now at least, so it's easier to hit. Is that enough? They cost 5 fuel now so I guess I won't run into 3 of them anymore.

Still no late game.
Still plenty of useless and awkward abilities
Bazookas are still crum.

The last patch helped them out a little, but just because they aren't getting completely shut out by kubel spam doesn't mean they are any good.

I would change the poll's option: Yes, but not as much.

I think they are in a pretty good shape right now. At least in 1v1s.

USF is really good atm. They just need to build 2 units end-game:

- M8 carriage
- Jackson
- maybe still have the vetted M20 to provide vision.

Late game is not viable.

Vetted jacksons vs. vetted axis tanks = dead jacksons

Wierd tier design for me. Relic could switch HMG with AT gun and then it might be fine. Right now it's T2 - 0 AT, T3 - 0 AI. On the other hand OKW has good AT and AI in all tiers so no matter which tier you go, it wont punish you.

Wut?

Jacksons do huge damage against ANY axis tank, they destroy axis med tanks with ease. IF used correctly(!). Thats is keep them at max range and keep them supported.

I've been using USF a bit lately. My opposition has been crummy because my ELO having gone down (after a fair hiatus), but there's been 2v1 situations recently (due to a teammate with a gaming IQ in the single digits) which I've managed to survive pretty well.

The usf have the strongest early game, you can't have both a good early game and a good lategame.

The biggest buff the US ever got was the vehicle priority button on the Jackson.

I find the Americans do fine against anything except Jagdtigers/Elefants (and to some degree the Pak43). As soon as something out ranges the jackson, they stutter.

Jackson versus panther battles are pretty exciting at the moment though.

Exciting as in one of your jacksons get killed while the panther reverses out and gets repaired to full? Rinse repeat?

Lol if positioned well the Panther will be shot at by the Jackson + AT gun, 2nd jackson or whatelse and be scared away.

+ if he closes in he is prone to engine dmg.

The only weakness of USF is that they lack good mines to cover from flanks.

USF' late game still sucks hard.
Still can't do anything against well-microed snipers and Mg + Pak wall.
Vet 5 OKW units still rape them.
Kübels are still a huge problem.

Jackson's pentration on far distance - 160.
Shall I recall JT, KT or vetted Panther armor?

Even SU-85 has better penetration
