Good patch fixing a lot of bugs, but balance issues are still there.

For balancing the patch doesn't address much, but (hopefully) for bugs and optimization the patch addresses a lot. Which I think is fine since a lot of people are more frustrated with the plethora bugs right now than a few units being OP or UP. Not to say those issue-units don't need ot be addressed, but a lot of polls and posts on the forums have been clamoring for bug fixes first then balance (which I am all for).

A lot of things I didn't expect in this patch. The infantry behavior should be much better now.
I don't know about those JT and ISU changes though. Let's see how they play out.

some thoughts:

-Maxim retreat bug fixed: thank goodness!
-ISU and Jagd requires auto targeting: might be a bit overkill, but I guess this prevents ISU152 spam in long 4v4's
-180ms input delay improvement: always welcome!
-Units no longer flop around on the ground when an explosion hits nearby (if moving): Sounds good to me
-BAR buff: perfect!
-Kubel fuel cost and target size: thank you relic for not going overboard with the changes on this unit
-Dodge WC51 to 0 cp; along with fixes: sounds fair
-Howitzer health increase: about time something was done to these howies
-OBS mode: awwwwwwww yes!

I do kinda wish they also buffed the health of the Pak43 too. It suffers the same problem as the Howies did, of being one-shotted by almost any off-map.:(

I wonder if the IL-2 bombstrike now still wrecks Pak43s/howies now that it drops the bombs in a line.

The ISU/JT change means that they also removed attack move from those units? :megusta:

I like that Relic literally admits that Allies are more difficult to play than Axis. :foreveralone:

Allies are more difficult to play as a result of their high unit count and low power ratio per unit. For example, instead of heaving one super heavy Tiger, the USF have two or three Sherman Tanks. In theory, the USF player possesses a relatively similar army value; in practice the execution of this army requires greater coordination. Short term, our goal is to target a few problematic units or upgrades to better align the factional balance. Long term, we will be addressing faction scaling, how the power of a faction compounds into the late game, and difficulty of play related to Allied army composition.

That said, other factors will likely be added to that list as we further investigate some of the challenges players are facing.

So it`s not all, i think there might be some more allied buffs later.

Way to add a fuel cost on OKW's only non-doctrinal suppression platform Relic.

Why don't we just cater to whiners fully, call it "Company of Allies".

Now every OKW player is going to be pigeon holed into playing Luftwaffe Ground Forces and Fortifications just to have a suppression platform to hold back the Americunt rifleblobs and Sovieshit Shockblobs.

Also very curious to hear the answer to this.

It's actually a huge nerf to the ISU and JT. The manual firing will take a lot more time considering you can't aim pre-shot like they normally would during cooldown.

Thankfully they left the elephant alone. In comparison to the other 2 long range super heavies, the elephant just got a lot better without actually getting a buff.

Well done Relic!

Seriously, you think a cost of only 5 fuel will ruin the unit?

I'm very impressed with the observer mode, it looks much better than I expected. After the warspoils debut I expected a half-working turd, but it looks better than I could have hoped.
