Builder Unit: Sturmpioneers OKW 58%
Core Infantry: Grenadiers Ostheer 32%
Elite Infantry: Obersoldaten 28%
This round:
Unlockable infantry upgrade
This will be available for core and elite infantry.
OKW upgrades will have their fuel or upgrade costs adjusted into "real" terms
For giggles here is what our anti-faction currently looks like:
Builder: Rear Echelon Troops 2%
Core Infantry: Assault Engineers and Pathfinders 0%
Elite Infantry: Irregular, Partisan Tank Hunters and Ostruppen Reserve

Between strums, grens with LMGs and oberjesuses, there's already AI out the ass.
There's not much AT, but bazookas and PTRS are shit, so f that.
So it comes down to utility. With grens you already have the best AT snare, so no need for poopsock AT nades. Therefore it's down to molotov and US grenades, and I would easily take US grenades just for the smoke alone.

Do remember that Obers do get smoke grenade at vet 1.
Yeah I do, but you get to throw 2 smokes now I mean what are ppl voting for? IR STG's? They're not that great on obers, and grens already have LMGs. I guess you'd be able to fire on the move which is nice.
Curiously, Grens and Obersoldaten fulfill the exact role except for Panzerfaust, so once you unlock Obers there's almost zero reason to build Grens anymore.

Volks (extremely strong veterancy buffs + shrek)
Obers (manpower only anti-infantry destroyer)
with the m1919 lmg upgrade, so you can give them to volks. volks are THE best platform to have any form of weapon on because their vet makes them so strong.

TO OP, Why don't you just play OKW, it is Fantasy Pure Aryan Masterace Faction which you dream of(created by relic)Why do you even start saying this kind of things to the OP. He's just doing this for fun and wants to know what people would do if they could create their own faction. All upgrades and infantry selected are Axis things, if you didnt notice yet. And most of it comes from OKW.

I recall stating at the top anyway that this is not a question of necessarily getting the best or most capable units in any case, not least because the MP drain, pop cap and costs may be prohibitive.

Shreks are a one off cost, but no one went for units that can have them,
Right now we are reliant on Grenadier Fausts as sole infantry AT, with them taking LMGs and rifle grenades as well that will be a lot of munitions.
We don't need AT Grenades because Fausts will do the same
We don't need US grenades for same reason (all we get from that is smoke)
Molotovs are not going to add much (you flank with Sturms, LMG Grens or Obers something is dead anyway)
BARs are expensive, droppable and don't add much - this faction already has superb AI
G43s are great, but we already have Obers without needing munitions and the cost will be high
PTRS is reliable AT and undervalued, but it is not worth paying for and will drop AI DPS too much on 4 man squads
PPSH will I think, merely make the infantry worse
Which leaves me with:
Flamethrower would give close in AI, Utility and Building clearance
IR STG 44 will be death (especially if we can put it on Sturms and keep the Obers as they are) but will be very expensive
M1919, we already have Obers for long range
