the trailer is very well done, too bad Relic doesnt release this type of advertising early because of the stupid NDA.

I can't imagine why they picked a price that high, that is insane.

I wonder if they're gonna use any Ostheer units, it'd be weird to do WW2 without any StuG's or Pak's. I also wonder if they're gonna have Panzer IV's, it'd be very weird to not have those.

Is there going to be any new multiplayer additions with Ardennes Assault? $40 for just a single player DLC campaign is a bit too much. If im going to play by myself I may as well just watch porn and have a fap

$40 is a joke for a single player only expansion. Relic lower the price or no one with half a brain will buy this.

where did 40 come from? I was expecting half that. Maybe 20 for wfa and 40 for aa = 60 for western front? This might be a tough sell for Relic.

reading some of th articles, it looks as though relic is trying to re-invent the way they do with singlplayer. it looks promising and it is obvious that they put a lot of work it in, BUT $43.99 is still too much imo.

hope the Europe in Ruins mod guys got something for the call in style of play. That was a great mod.

hopefully they can carry some of the meta-map over to mulitplayer. It would be cool if they had a map of WWII and each of the tiles were a map. At the end of each day tally the allie/axis multiplayer wins on that map and give it to the faction.

Anything to make multiplayer better - it is the only hope they have of making enough money to stay alive.

As an (ex) RGD coder from EiRR mod I can confirm that

A) Modding has been disabled (after being enabled for a time) for ages, long enough for Relic to crank out masses of DLC.

B) There hasn't been a real post on the relicnews CoH2 modding forums for ~2 months now.

C) Relic wouldn't bother with the Warmap concept from EiRR--they're only ripping off/making use of the persistency mechanic; vetted units that survive are available later--IIRC this was available way back in the vCoH campaign (pre OF/ToV).

EDIT: MEIN HUE, they actually copy-pasted the Warmap. That's it. I have officially seen it all, I have officially seen the bar set so low that the gap between it and the baseline is an airtight seal.

D) I'm rapidly losing patience with CoH2 and would really like modding to be re-enabled.

E) Did I mention the modding?
