maybe it should work +4 ammo on ammo point and +2 fuel on fuel point but it is just not programmed correctly :-)

And no the truck was the only active one in each screen so it is not adding the bonus ressources.

It's not at all complicated. As I said, those totals that cr4wler posted are for single sectors, and the income of the truck is based on all of your sectors added up together, with a max of +6 ammo and +3 fuel.

if you're talking about the weird kicker messages, they are just that, kicker messages... they have nothing to do with the actual values that get added or whatever. i could make the kicker messages say "your micro sucks" and make the supply truck add 5 command points and 1000 fuel per second when locked down.

btw, it would probably be a good idea to post those screenshots in the beta bug forum.

This answer should be rather obvious, even the worst case scenario for the truck provides +1 fuel and +2 munitions every 20 sec, or +3 fuel and +6 munitions per minute. Compare to a fuel OP giving +3 fuel per minute or munitions OP giving +5 munitions per minute we can assign +1 fuel per minute a manpower value of 66.66 and 40 mp for munitions.

Worst case scenario:
+3 fuel/min = 200 mp
+6 munitions/min = 240 mp
200 + 240 - 200 = 240 mp more value for the same cost as an OP

We can extend this to the other more positive scenarios:
Munitions point but no fuel
+3 fuel/min = 200 mp
+18 munitions/min = 720 mp
200 + 720 - 200 = 720 mp surplus

Fuel point but no munitions
+9 fuel/min = 600 mp
+6 munitions/min = 240 mp
600 + 240 - 200 = 640 mp surplus

Munitions and fuel point
+9 fuel/min = 600 mp
+18 munitions/min = 720 mp
600 + 720 - 200 = 1120 mp surplus

So to clarify: in the best case scenario which is quite most likely (you often control both 1 fuel and 1 munitions point in a equal match up) you get a 1120 mp surplus from using a Opel blitz compared to a OP. Or in other words, you would need 1120/200 = 5,6 plus one so a total of 6.6 OPs (1320 manpower worth) to match the resource production of one Opel blitz with OPs.

So give you an example, let's say you get get out two Opel blitzes with the best case scenario, you would have to construct 13.2 OPs or 2640 manpower worth to get the same resource production. Unfortunately there's not even that many viable OP points on the map. Let's assume you don't own a fuel nor munitions point, you still need to spend 880 manpower on OPs to match 400 manpower on Opel Blitzes.

Verdict: Opel Blitz is THE shit. Never ever construct an OP with that commander.

I just noticed in this cast, at about 31 minutes in, that Barton still gains resources from his trucks when the sectors with them are cut off! :loco:

you get resources from opel blitz truck no matter what. just a matter of how much. really really stupid.

Actually, none of the sectors with trucks, or sectors connected to sectors with trucks, are cut off! They don't blink on the map, and when Barton caps the cutoff points, he only gains +5 muni and +3 fuel per minute, which is what the cutoff point itself gives.

The trucks serve as an additional HQ for cutoff purposes! o_O :huhsign: :loco: :faint:

They're like brit HQ trucks, but you can have more of them :rofl:

Don't forget you can see on the mini map when a territory has a truck on it, even without scouting. I think a lot of people didn't realize it yet.
And those trucks die really fast.

I don't mean that trucks are perfectly fine, I just say that I haven't seen people dedicating a T70 (or something else) to hunt those trucks.

Opel Blitz gives you resources from each territory that you own
- if you place your Opel Blitz on territory that it next to a sector base you will get only 1 fuel and 3 munitions every 20 seconds
- if you place your Opel Blitz in territory that isn't next to a base sector you will get 1 fuel, 3 munitions and probably another 1 fuel and 4 munitions but i'm not sure (resouces you get from Opel Blitz are shown on screen but it's hard to say how much you get fuel, but i'm sure about munitions)


So it doesn't matter?

This is the most complicated truck in the history of the world.

And pertinently, this is the problem with thread necros. The Opel Blitz Commander has been savaged nerfed, so that :-

1) The Opel trucks no longer give a fuel advantage to all your team - only to the Opel Blitz Commander
2) Strafe has been been nerfed almost beyond comprehension, compared to its original ability

Ok, other forums tend to prefer keeping the same topic in the same thread and people read dates without problemand answer the new questions. It works fine there so I just assumed. Their reasoning is that people searching will have an easier time to find info and it's less threads to manage. But I hear you. New thread it is then.
