Ey up all.

Been away from the game for a fair while and getting an itching to come back into the game as i see no other RTS worth playing bar Dawn of War 2 which is unfortunately on its way out.

BUT.

Does the game still have serious balance issues? Last time i stopped playing was because as Soviets, the German player could simply steam roll the end of the game with very little in the way of resistance.

And Pioneer death squads.

Im not going into that.

Basically, what is the basic level of balance in the game?

It's better. The Soviet/Ost balance is bang on. The OKW balance is a bit special. Worth the try.

Well yea obviously lol.

It's much better then when you were playing. Tank gameplay was largely fixed in the patch after you left. Things like t34s being buffed instead of them being dedicated rams. It's not perfect, but it's way better since the patch you played.

Ost vs Soviet have now a much more fucked up balance than before WFA release.

Conscripts, ZiS, Guards and T34 nerfs did hurt the faction too much.

Meanwhile, whitout Guards' button and with the new armor buff Panthers are again unkillable war machines.

There are players who do nothing to effort to win. Because they know that in the late game, take heavy tanks and win the game.

Such players are many.
