There is an thousands year old Jewish proverb that goes something like: "If everyone tells you that you're drunk, best not to argue, just get to sleep."

Allied players are in decline. Full stop. Those who want to play allies are saying it. Those who play both say they now choose allies only because the wait times are less. And others just don't say anything because they have left and moved on to other games. So there is a problem. To argue with the perceptions of those who don't play or have left misses the point. Perceptions are reality to each individual.

You can say that the perception is tantamount mis-perceiving the problem, but objective statistics and all the anecdotes say that the problem exists. You can shout "it is just an L2P issue" as loud as you want, but the more successful you are in getting the game designers to look away from the complaints, the longer your wait times will get when you play Axis.

Right now, Allies are pretty boring to play which is y we see a crap ton of axis compared to allies on Q times.

Although this has always been present, the total population of axis players GREATLY outnumber those of allied players. There's simply not enough fun incentive to playing factions that rely on cheese and linear builds.

Even if soviets are the most powerful faction (stat wise), no one likes to play them. A faction's balance power does not equal how attractive they are gameplay wise, this holds true in all games.

There needs to be some serious tweaking in gameplay for the allied factions IMO. Spamming riflemen and cheesing with soviets is not how I'd imagine the allies to win during ww2 even if its just a game.

If someone knows please tell me what are those different strategies that Axis find more appeling that overshadow Allies in their decison to play a faction?

Let's compare...

Wher: (Varying strategies are more build dependent)
-Generalist (Grens + MG)
-The choice to go Ostruppen for massive wall punch.
-A mobile Army of Panzergrens + light vehiciles
-A fully automatic army of SMGs (ass grens) and Assualt rifles (Panzergrens) + tanks
-Ostwind + pak wall turtle strat
-Piospam into T2
-Pio + support teams defensive build

Note: Although the most diverse faction, some builds are weaker than others, not all are on the same power level.

OKW: (varying strategies are more map dependent)
-Generalist (Volks + sturm)
-Kubel lol wagens + inf spam
-Same tech as USF but 2x as many options due to types doctrine units (playstyles differ with each unit)
-If not doc inf, then Ober elites for 2nd tier inf
-If behind, choice between werfer or volks for AT

Note: Generally, OKW relies on inf, therefore the surprise comes from their 1st showing of Doctrinal unit. This also holds true for the 2x panzer call in.

Soviets: (Strategies are all locked to certain Doctrines and the 1st building built)
-If T1 then T4, doc spam tanks
-If T2 then T3, doc spam inf and then tanks

Note: Stock infantry play will more often punish player than enemy.
Note 2: If trying builds straying from the norm above, it will punish player even more heavily than Wher players.

USF: (Strategies are determinate of early game success)
-Spamming Rifleman until critical number will almost ensure early-mid game success
-If greatly ahead, spam tanks to push them off the map.
-If not ahead, dig in and try bleeding VP

Note: Almost all units for USF will be the same every game. Rarely will they ever change.

So from what we have here, you can kind of get the basic summary.

I meant early game the first units on the field. But if everyone agrees then we just migt all play Axis and forget about Allies. And another thing i see that only Wermaht gives a chance to play in multipule ways, becasue those OKW strats revolve mainly around Obers and pick a vehicle that you like. Ohh and before i forget "Grens and PIV the only working start in the game".
