I still like the game and still get a couple of matches in everyday, but the general state of team games has made me depressed.

Voted yes.

As soviet player I don't want to Maxim/Sniper spam anymore. There are other RTS games with a deeper and funnier gameplay.
And I don't want to invest time in getting competitive with another faction.

The poll was in the right place, but I think OP should have broken it down into 1v1,2v2 etc

It has shrunk slightly(but I believe that's only due to our college school players going back to school and some of our workers going back to work) :D If you look closely you'll notice how our player numbers instantly drop after summer is over. :P

In general I am not playing that much CoH2, as I am to a degree sick of it. Besides that I am not really happy about some bugs.

+1

Taking a break because it just doesn't interest me anymore.
Patches going from left to right, Sov OP, Axis OP, skill not resulting in winning, getting owned by noobs because they are exploiting for example luftwaffe, ...

"It's in a better state" says the optimist, myself included a few months ago.
"It's still in a bad sate" says the realist, myself included now.

Im quite sure that the "summer" more had to do with the release of wfa.

This game was fundamentally flawed from the start. The ridiculous swings in balancing to try and alleviate these flaws and absurd commanders is a big turnoff and is alienating.

Ofc, but I'm not listing the obvious.(Plus it was 3 months ago that wfa was released). The player base solidified last month, however it died down recently due to the summer ending.(and reasons stated in my previous post)

Patch has made this game alot better. But the blobbers are probably finding it hard to play now, A-move is not exceptible as much anymore.

well, i voted balance. just got out of two games (first one 3v3 on lazur, the second 2v2 on crossing) where OKW opened with a kubel. the US can't do anything except try and flak them for the first 3 minutes or so and even if you spend your first 60 mun on a bazooka you still don't have much. uninstalled a moment ago; figured i'd post in this since it's related.

Yeah, Openings in 1v1 are sometimes balanced, but in teamgames they can be very hard to beat / nearly impossible. But I won't get started about teamgames.

But if you look even closer you'll notice that the player count went in to a steady decline from late June all the way through July. The players lost almost overnight in that early September dropoff is not very many compared to the players lost for the 1.5 months leading up to that point.

I like the game, But I got bored of the stale Meta and logged over 600 hours in the game so it got repetitive

Maps dont allow much tactical work, blobbing works, going for callins and tankwar in the end.
Its stale and boring.

For me, I hope its cool for other players.
