What does this have to do with the kubel?! You build kubel from T0
One of the things that make Kubel good early on is the Truck push.
Destroy buildings, push units out of cover, block vehicles and scouting.

Just had a game where Axis gyus pushed with... 6 Kubels. No way to leave base cause you get immediate red suppression. By the time you will have ZiS or at least 2 maxims (not to mention USF...), they will build Schwerer Panzer Headquarters on main points and you lose fuel/ammo points for a long time...

I left 4v4 for 2v2. It was quite nice as soviets when compare to 4v4.
I ve got streak +8, got high in ladder and then it's started. Kubels, kubels, kubels eveywhere. One, two, three kubel in first minute standind and suppressing eny inf almost next to base. By the time they reatreat for repairs, OKWs have 2 fuels. One min later they appear again but this time with storimpio and volks and it's gg.
I'm not saying that it's impossible to repel them but it's really, really hard to do it. And as I was saying, over 1500 in ladder there is not any problem like that or they are bad microed but since you reach 1000/1500 you can see trucks push, many kubels and stormpio. It's just ridiculous. Strompio+Kubel at the openining it's almost like Dodge+Assault Engi. Imagine that flame if USF could have such combination.

It has always been a bit strange that it is a wheeled vehicle that can pivot side to side that just does not make any f*&kin sense. I'm not sure if it is the kubel that is broken or that because of the recent mg changes that it is really starting to shine. Germans can lock down one fuel with one mg and then send kubel to the open area fuel in 2v2. Especially when they have a strum standing there guarding it repairing faster than 3 squads can dps it down. Effectively they delay you from fuel far too long with it and cost you the game.
It needs a set up time or something, when it is in open ground it take very little micro to stop any push with out a clown car or m20 and they take way too long to get if you can't win the fuel quickly because of the mobile suppress machine. The wc51 is such a shit overall doctrine that no one wants to go that route either it can be a loss just picking it.

Nope.
Can be countered by the following:
- M3
- Spread out riflemen
- Mines
- Maxims
- RE spam
- MG bunkers
- Blobberinos
- at grenades

I dont see USF using smoke often enough... just the regular charge in riflemen with BARs in hand.
LOL. Why would I waste munitions smoking a kubel??? It can just reverse quicker than shit and pen all my infantry again. Smoke isn't going to do crap vs a kubel.

it will have to reposition
have a counter in the area, either flank with multiple squads or have a light vehicle

USF smoke actually slows vehicles down, so it can help you killed it.
