If I defeated a computer in 20 minutes and got experience from that game, would that be cheating? Of course not. Now what if I realized that for some reason, the computer never built AT, so I could rush a tank every game and demolish their HQ in 10 minutes no matter what? Would you consider that to be cheating? I wouldn't. Perhaps this is an exploit, but it's not changing the game mechanics, nor is it breaking the engine and is no different from using a script to reload and play a game over and over again, except for the fact that it is happening at an accelerated manner.

Regardless, it's incredibly stupid that you can unlock mechanisms in the game that affect gameplay just by playing the game more. In HotS, SC2 did something similar, except the only thing you unlocked from leveling up were unit/building skins, which makes much more sense because a skin on a Zergling isn't going to change how much damage it does or how quickly you can build one.

Have you heard about resetting stats once a beta is over? (Or an alpha, or any other pre-realease stuff?)

I've played maybe 50 games and I'm level 34/40, this isn't like a 300 hour grind to CoD 10th prestige. The funny thing is some of the people going "ermagerd play to win" play 20-40 hours per week anyways.

i know, that you can reach high levels without using this script. but when the game will be released, we will have battle honor 5 or so, and this will not be like 300 hours grind, but maybe 100 or so. and im studying physics, so i dont have 20-40 hours time per week to play coh or any games!
btw. the script doesn't autocompstomp, i compstomped, and the script just reloads the game a second before winning. no hack at all!

Obviously this needs to be fixed before release, as it undermines the devs attempts at long term monetization. But since we are in beta i don't see why this is a problem. Its not like our stats are gonna carry over to retail.
