I'm not really liking this trend too much.

I was OK with partisans because they don't have a lot of impact and die like flies, but stormtroopers, JLI, and Falls.. UGhhh.

More infantry spawning from buildings?? This is getting really stupid.

Seriously, there should be a fucking option to veto all maps with any kind of building...

AGAIN, that image is extremely old. I bet the Doctrine looks quite different now.

The AT bombing run looks amazing; stun the enemy tank blob and flank it. 150 munitions is pretty expensive though.

but it looks weak, big radius, but not sure how much it can do.

I was thinking more in a team game sense, where you could stun all the enemy tanks in the area and have an ally who chose a doctrine with better call in tanks flank and wipe them up. Plus it probably damages engine on all the tanks too, but couldn't tell from the video.

Anybody placing bets if that new off map Axis artillery will apply to base areas?

Your base sector can not be cut off, I'm mean you are not a noob, you know that.

Close the Pocket may require line of sight (on all relevant sectors), so it might not be as powerful as it seems just from the description.

that would make it utterly useless. there's also a precedent for it not doing so, as the current implementation does not require it.

My money is ready for Encirclement Doctrine.

Anyways, im assuming close the pocket works like fallshirmjager paradrop + strafes in which you select the CP and the ability activates and blows up sectors and connected sectors that are cut off.

"Help, we're cut off from our base! Klaus is pinning us down with the DShK and Hans is making fart noises on the Commander's radio!"

Well for the Encirclement Doctrine i think the save grace for it is that A. it will be very ammo intensive on a faction that already has ammo issue, and B with the added stormtroopers, each faction will have a infiltration unit. The East German faction was the only one who didn't. USF have paratroops, have JLI and FJ, and Soviet have partisans so each faction is even now, so i am ok with them. We will have to wait and see thought like many have said. Also doses any one know if the Cons only get 2 PTSR or 3, also if the con has to hit the ground to shoot the PTSR, which is the only reason PTSR suck on guards.

Stormtroopers with satchel charges and smoke grenade....wow :bananadance:

But it seems, that the encirclement doctrine will be very ammunition costly

Breakthrough + blitzkrieg...

Actually, breakthrough is in one of the TOW missions. Its not anything OP speed wise, but a single 221 will decap ALL map in a matter of 30 seconds easily.
