Hi,

Is there any kind of documentation whatsoever available for the Beta? I've played a few games against the computer and I'm slowly learning what things are but it would be a lot easier if there was some help somewhere

Posting a unit list would break the NDA, so I guess the best thing I can suggest is play a game and write down the units from each building.

check this site, there is an old news post about all the units that were in the pre-alpha and alpha... there even should be an interview on there with all the guys that were at london to play the pre-alpha (seph, 12azor, hans, tommy). anything on top of that is NDA i guess.

Okay. Getting mercilessly ripped apart by mortars at the minute, don't remember them being this good in CoH1 :/

So... How are they going to balance anything if we can't even name a single unit ? Is there a secret fail sub-forum like the alpha one anywhere ?

I think that's a Panzer IV, it looks just like the CoH Panzer IV with a different skin.

Hmm, now that you and Tycho both mentioned it I looked it up in wikipedia again.

For comparison:

vs.

Panzer IV Type G (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fd/SdKfz161-1-1.jpg)

Although there were different variants of both tanks only the Panzer IV variants had this distinct wide muzzle at the end of the barrel so it is indeed a Panzer IV ;).

You go to http://forums.sega.com/forumdisplay.php?371-Company-of-Heroes-2-Beta , there you enter the password that you can find in-game. And then you should have access ;)

its a panzer 4 not 3 to my knowledge. also its a pak40 not 38.
