Looking through the files, I can't find a single mention of it actually giving any bonuses. They have a bunch of lines of code checking how many vehicles that have the aura are present, but no stat changes being applied at any point. Am I just blind or does this veterancy ability currently in fact do absolutely nothing except display an icon?

Well, if it did absolutely nothing it would at least be consistent with allies/soviet armor vet so far.

Thanks, apparently the in-file search I've been using does not in fact match filename.

It's the veteran 1 ability of Shermans (Others too?) that enables them to fire faster etc when in proximity to other American tanks.

It's called "Battle Group" in the stats / gamefiles, ingame description and name is radio net though.

Oh, thanks man. Radio net sounds better anyway.

I was kind of hoping this was some new commander or something. 1200 MP, call in 3 shermans! lol

I can't help but feel something is missing in this thread, namely, what are the bonus parameters for Sherman Battle Group/Radio Net?

Meh, I try to not post those stats anymore since a big part of the community just misuses them / lacks an understanding what it actually means. That's why I wrote down exactly where you find the bonus in the files, but not the actual bonus.

There is still a few of us that can read them correctly :)

And the vet bonuses are about the only stats I don't have access to(read: too lazy to dig myself).
I do have a text document where I've got all ost and sov vet, but nothing on new armies.

I assume it stacks with more tanks around?
Or is it single buff?

It seems to stack in game if you look at the Sherman's buffs I think I've seen Radio Net I, II and III

Once a Sherman has vet 1 it will get Radio Net I, II, or III depending on how many vehicles are nearby. It doesn't care at all whether the other vehicles are vetted Shermans or anything else.
