90% of memes and images made by the internet are already lazy, boring, bloated or annoying. If a developer would put in memes in their game it would be the equivilent of a wall street banker putting on a cap backwards and going out hanging with the protesters.

Also if coh2 holds for 7-8 years like this game, it will be terribly outdated and a pain to have to see that meme 6.8-7.8 years after it's outdated.

More options are almost always welcome, so yeah I'd say add them in. Liberal use of the ignore function will always be your friend for "those people".

I'd much rather talk about this than about "THQ shop refund", "1 line of speech added into game", or "looking for beta key". Beyond that, I'm all for optional features that can be used/ignored/turned off at will.

on a more serious note i think that memes which are subject to change (meaning they will have to updated constantly.) and are spammed constantly as i was trying to point out... but emoticons like say
