I instantly preordered when I saw the news a couple of days ago. While I still haven't ordered Coh 2 yet.

It's quite sad. But at least with AoE 2 HD i know i'll be getting a quality game. (See people at Relic, u don't need to change much to have a great game. I bet a lot of people will buy it, since it was one of their first rts games (or second since it's the 2nd Aoe ^^)

Juste played the original at work in a lan two days ago, was great fun. I really should play this game again on steam. I wonder if the last expansion is worth it.

The last expansion isn't played online at all. I don't even know if you should get it for the campaigns as I didn't played them.
The AoE2HD is much better than the original tbh, if you have a good screen 23"+, the HD resolution makes the game look really great.
More, there is some good competition online (even if the ranked search is broken), it's pretty hard to get +1800 elo (the ranking).
