May be a bit late in replying...but I wonder if the pak43 could have picked away at the building the 50cal was holed up in...could have helped the OKW effort to retake it with his sturms and maybe free up some field of vision as well.

And we've got a 2v2 on Crossing in the woods featuring Symbiosis and Von asten vs Fatalthought and joo. A brutal encounter :

Episode 525 is up. A 1v1 on Faymonville between Fortune and Desert Fox Rommel. Vet 3 IS2 and Vet 3 StuG are amongst the things in this match to watch out for :

A bit disappointing that Fortune never used Target Weak Point on the StuG E's. They have it and afaik it works the same as TWP on the StuG G, so he could have saved himself some trouble with that T-34, and later on the IS-2.

I do believe he used it. The thing is. It has a low penetration on the StuG E. So hard to succeeds vs an IS2

Not to detract from your analysis of the game, but I feel like the 3 squad wipes in the span of a few minutes were a pretty big deciding factor....

I can attest to Porygon's immature in-game chat. He's called me a noob and lucky repeatedly in matches I've won a while ago. Not an upstanding member of this community in regards to in-game conversation. Gotta keep your composure, man!

Dane, based on AA preview footage from Relic, what do you think of the prospect of a Ranger company in multiplayer?

Just watched this one. I liked the way Stephenn started. But when he saw Richard was rushing for Captain, he should have known the Stuart was going to come. Not sure why Stephenn didn't get a Pak 40 earlier. And I don't agree with Richard getting a Pack Howitzer so early.

I agree with your assessment that Richard should have upgraded his Riflemen with BARs more. I was checking his munitions multiple times and he often had 200+. That was frustrating.

I think Tier 2 would have worked well for Richard. M20 to mine for eventual Ostheer armor, M2HB .50 could have slowed down Stephenn's Grenadiers and Panzergrenadiers, and the M15A1 AA halftrack would have been effective early since Stephenn didn't have anti-tank.

I also would have thought about a mortar or sniper for Stephenn to pick off the Pack Howitzer or BAR Riflemen to discourage them from advancing. And since Richard never got a Major and he lost three ambulances, that would have forced him to retreat his Riflemen all the way back to reinforce.

Good positioning and mix of units for Stephenn. I think after Richard lost his Captain in the church, he never really was able to gain a foothold after that.

The Prospect of a ranger Company for Multiplayer seems likely, i mean they modelled the rangers and got voicework for them. As for a role one could easily imagine them as heavy assault infantry with thompsons and bazookas. So i see no issue there. Doctrine could also have that commando artillery and maybe the drop mines. Throw in an m10 and maybe hmm.. Not sure.

I could also see a Cavalry company doctrine with cavalry infantry and a mech group call in amongst other things. Hell i even see the possibility for some kind of air superiority doctrine
