Forcing the Grenadiers to fight from hastily prepared positions and hope for more serious reinforcements.

Following the Assault of the 3rd Armoured Division the 5th Armoured was committed to follow attack on the outskirts of the Hürtgen forest against the Kampfgruppe Meyer. A mix of SS and Regular army troops tasked with holding a vital crossroads.

Following weeks of quiet on the front. The Germans were stirring and the 7th Infantry Division found itself the target as the 21st Panzer Division launched an attack on the village holding one of the divisions regimental Headquarters.

It had taken days for the replacements and equipment to get there. and even then they were lacking in munitions and fuel. But there was no time to delay. The assault of the Grossdeutschland had to go on. The 5th Mechanized Guards Corps had to be stopped no matter what.

Guarding a vital Supply dump for XXI Corps the 15th Panzergrenadier Division was dug in alongside a series of villages on the Western Front. Trying to seize it and wreak havoc on the Germans the 2nd Armoured Division was launching an attack across the entire front with support from the 3rd Armoured for extra firepower.

Given priority fuel and replacements. The 2nd SS Panzer DIvision geared up for an assault on a small Belgian village held by elements of the 5th Infantry Division. Hauptstürmführer Bayer gave the final orders to his men and mounted his Command tank and set off.

The way to Nijmegen was open. Or so they thought. As the 11th Armoured Entered some Dutch village. They rapidly came under fire losing their lead elements in a bloody ambush. Quickly things turned into a heated battle with the 107th Panzer Brigade.

The boys of the 2nd Infantry Division had failed in their attack of the 84th Infanterie Division and the 3rd Armoured Division was sent in to clear up the mess. Behind German lines a second attack was expected and the appropriate reserves had been brought up.

The Panzer Lehr division got ever close to the Meuse River, the allied divisions before it had scattered like rats ! Victory was theirs ! Or so it would be once they dealt with the 1st Armoured Division, the last defender in their way.

Hauptmann Berger found himself suddenly thrust into a situation he was not ready for. he was there to ressuply his Panzergrenadier Kompanie. But now he had to prepare to repel attackers. Hopefully armour would be swiftly forthcoming.

Crossing the rhine the combined allied force prepared to push into the Ruhr. But standing in their way was the Panzer Division Clausewitz, rushed to halt them and push them into the rhine. Every single one of them.

"Get back here you cowardly dogs ! Major Hoffmann shouted at the streams of retreating Hungarian troops. The 2nd Guards Mechanized Corps had launched an attack and the Hungarians had melted. It was up to him and the Feldhernhalle Panzer Division to stop the Russians and crush them.

Intelligence Indicated that Army Group Center South was preparing for a counter-attack with 20th Panzer Division spearheading the effort. With that in mind the 5th Tank Corps was ordered to attack to draw out german reserves and deny the attack it's strength.

The allied lines had been shelled for days by a well concealed battery. When they finally found the observation position that was calling it in. The 7th armoured division was tasked with clearing out the village holding it.

What had initially been a solid advance quickly turned into a pitched battle as lead elements of the 3rd Armoured Division found themselves cut off. Blocking the path was the 2nd Panzer Division with every intent of crushing the 3rd.

The situation had deterioriated on the baltic front severely in the last few days. The Panzer Division strachwitz was at the breaking point when the 10th Tank Corps made another push, at a small village. Would the Division hold ? Or would it break ?
