I would gladly exchange a bit of deploy time for a wider arc and the teleport magic of MG42.
Fuck it i would just mirror the maxim with the mg42 and solve every single balance problem of this unit/

I dont feel like this is not balance issue with max hmg its self. I find it more too do with okw and usf factions structures them selfs. With both faction not having cost effective early counters to hmg's like mortars, snipers and light vehicels.
I always find my self using hmgs in building against okw as i know they find it hard to get them out in the early game and i find hmgs are a feasable stat sov Vs okw as concripts dont stand a chance against okws elite infantry .Also hmgs is good counter too the blob of doom

You don't flank with one squad, thats not called flank.
Flank is when you occupy a unit with one squad and then flank it with another.
But I wouldn't expect you to understand that, after all you've only played faction that a-moved for good couple of months.
You obviously haven't considered the possibility that specifically YOU are bad against it if it wasn't touched for how many months again?
