Yes, there is a way, its called Luftwaffe suply doctrine. It will become now really useful, good thing.


Which gives only one or another resource, doesn't give it to everyone(regardless if you play 1v1 or 4v4, its still the same amount of resources), have a set cost for a set amount delivered, can be intercepted by opponent and can't be used in closest to your base sectors to provide a lasting effect until its destroyed.

AKA

Delivering resources in a balanced way for games greater then 1v1.

Sadly, the stupidest thing is that this was the only reasonable thing to do but way back 2-3 months ago to avoid that "OP Panther waves..whaaaaaa...". What they did instead? They nerfed the shit out of the Panther making it a nice painted piece of crap. Now, IN ADDITION, they removed the share resource ability for Opel Blitz.
No pb, they should have done this a time ago, but then I want the Panther AND the Panzer IV cheaper than they currently are.
You simply cannot cut that much fuel income for a 2v2 team for instance and in addition make german armor more expensive now when is so little difference between soviet armor and the german one.
Let's get reasonable about this!

Is the patch live yet?

Steam has not updated CoH 2 for me. Noun said earlier in this thread that the Patch went live today Friday the 27th of June 2014.

Frankly, I found that 3vs3 and 4vs4 are mostly just spamming so they not my type of gamemode ( I usually call that for fun mode )

We are talking about COH2 here and 1vs1 and 2vs2 are the most competitive mode ( In my opinion ).

Cargo truck turn into super good for 1vs1 now but do nothing for 2vs2 where teamwork is the most important thing. Going Luftwaffe will required Axis team to secure at least 1 fuel point or 1 muni point + the risk is also very high.

Frankly, my opinion is:

- Not turning cargo truck into something useless in team game like that but change the way the share extra resources : For 2vs2 game, ER share 50/50 , 3vs3 share 33.3/33.3/33.3 , 4vs4 share 25/25/25/25.

- Because it's not like previous match anymore, lower the cost down to 250 or 270 manpower is ok.

When I play 2vs2 OKW + Ostheer, Assault Support was one of the best commander to go with OKW. After this, this might turn the commander into the 222 scout car when it was first release: Nobody give a shit about it in teamgame

Im pretty sure those are not the full patch notes. MG42 is a beast now. Supresses in the first burst. Does high damage, if you stay in the fire of an MG42 with a conscript squad you will lose it in less than a minut.

I also think Grenadiers from T2 for Wehrmacht are slighlty better. They are harder to kill if you ask me. Balance is much much better now for Wehr vs Soviet :p

About the new Blitz, how the hell the Ost Blitz is much better than the OKW one? Isn't it supposed to be the reversed with OKW being elite? And with the new buffed PzIV, looks like my poor old T-34/76 will be dusted again. Now Soviet T3 is only good against OKW.

you cant make core army balance changes only based on a single doctrinal ability. If one doctrine is absolutely necessary for 2v2, then the balance in general is broken.

Panzer II:
Weapon Penetration changed from 10/15/20 to 15/20/25


The patch seems to be live now, since most of changes are reflected in the game files, but this change isn't in the game right now.

Reminds me of someone forgetting to buff Panthers penetration a few patches back...

P4 was buffed against infantry only. If anything, it's worse pound for pound against the T34/76 because it got a cost increase while not gaining any anti-tank potential.
