How to de-crew Sturmtigers?

I'd actually like to know good ways to kill the crew while they are reloading. iirc the in-game text makes it seem like one could take out a ST crew and re-crew it while they are reloading. In the animation, the beginning half of the reload is where the ST is actually opened up and there is even a crew member exposed. Is this the only time that the crew can be easily taken down? (assuming it can happen like that at all)

Yes, as far as I know the time for enemy to be able take out the crew is shorter than the actual reload time which is around 50 seconds if I remember correctly. Even a grenade is sometimes enough, you just have to pray.

I actually have tried to get the computer to de-crew me. (My CoH2 crashed so the replay wasn't saved)
I now know that Shock Troops, Conscript rifles, and Conscript AT grenades definitely do not de-crew a SturmTiger. Just trust me on this one, I sat there in the russian base and watched a ST being shot at by Russians for a very long time until conscripts finally got the entirety of its health to 0 via AT grenades. Of course, I was also shooting and reloading as often as possible. So far I have yet to see the de-crew, but a normal hand grenade would make sense.
Does anyone know all of the ways in which a ST de-crew is possible?

I've had a priest decrew my sturm with 1 shell when it had about 5 seconds left on the reload before. It was in my HQ zone too.

When it's reloading, attack it. A 45mm atg de-crewed my Sturmtiger from a front hit.

another fun fact, keep building and decreweing sturmtigers in your base, then cap it with some useless inf and go base rape

The Sturmtiger is vulnerable to de-crew even after the crew animation is over. Shoot at it with anything during the 50 seconds of reload and you are making progress on de-crewing it.

You mean next time I'm on the "Caucus Oil Field" map where every point is +9001 fuel?
