The PTRS is probably the worst weapon to pick up as the Germans. You lose close to 25% of your anti-infantry DPS in exchange for some very unimpressive anti-tank DPS. For most German squads picking up a PTRS is more of a downgrade and it's something you will want to avoid.

MG42 is pretty awful when manned by a 6 man team.
That's why a Soviet MG 42 is so much more frightening than a German MG 42.
That and German's can't charge up to it and throw a retreat button at it.
Unless Assault Grenadiers Sprint into Assault Grenades counts
