Yes Americans are very resource intensive, fuel and ammunitions. Unlocking all weapon racks & grenades before tiering to t2 is not wise imo.

The 1919a4 seems to be much more powerful than the BAR, which is why it is doctrinal. When the CP for it unlocks, its weapon rack automatically becomes available? It also costs 60 muni as well? It deals good damage and has a cheap suppression ability, so it looks pretty cool for the Americans to have.

They have a lot of choices on what to spend fuel or munitions on. Being disciplined about when you purchase upgrades and under what circumstances you purchase them is important. I can't see an instance where BARs or the M1919 won't be used at all, because they're needed to scale into the late game.

Bazookas are a bit more optional imo. If you go for the Captain and get AT guns, you may not need them while holding out for your tanks. If you go Lieutenant, you might consider getting Bazookas. If going Lieutenant, your only AT until Tanks is the vehicle crew of the M20, and the M20 mines.

Something to be noted about the 3 Stukas strafing and then FSJ parachuting in:

Unless they've changed it, the ability works kind of like sector artillery in how it does damage. Seems like you guys are kind of brushing it off as a gimmick ability, but it was REALLY strong. Whether it is upon release remains to be seen.

Exactly. It looks like it could be used for almost textbook Blitzkrieg tactics in cooperation with armor support.

This.

And with the 66% ressources you get as OKW, it ought to be effective.

Obersoldaten Abilities:

Doctrinal grenade assault

The others:

-It looks like a bomb/booby trap like from OF
-the smoke grenade that does damage too
-Bundle grenade

Grenade assault seems funny - like it has a huge activation timer in order for it to be used. Or something.

It's the Special Forces doctrine's "Infiltration Assault" ability (name might be wrong). Infantry units left out of combat for a certain amount of time will be able to use it.

Instead of waiting for the final shot in a tank v tank battle, could a US crew disembark and suddenly fire a bazooka? Could this be timed so that it is done within the cooldown of the main gun?

when you activate the ability, it has like 2-3 sec wait time.

They might add it later for DLC.Though i believe because soviets have heavy late game armour..they didn't take that path with americans..basically saying..u want heavies as allies go soviets.

0 CP: super grenades with super booms
Half CP: carbines with leaser guided lava bullets with purinas inside forming a sharknado
2/3 CP smoke nuke
