If i am right, OKW can rush a puma at 10 minutes? That counters my SI armor rush really well.

I think t-34 will still beat the puma so not fully countered,but u'll have to be more circumspect in case puma has shreck or puppchenz support.Cheap mines will be more of a issue than rare tellers...on the good side...no panzerfausts so t-34 can manuevre much more freely....puma won't be able to kite effectively vs t-34 speed..but could lure u into a mine.

Well at least there's no chance of a luchs rush,since its in last building..but in one video it absolutely slaughtered infantry..so i suspect we will see its use due to its killing power.

Now to wait and see how vet pz 4 dual call stacks up to t-34/85.
My one concern is usa have SP artillery..no other faction seems to.No hummel or wespe.But as a consolation from what i have seen of the stuka OKW version.....they can potentially do without.

1. The baby US pack howitzer will fire on targets of opportunity in sight range, including if you open up the map using a third party unit. If you get a little battery of them going (say 2 or 3) they are a pain in the arse as Germans as they have good range.

2. The Puma *was* crazy good, especially it's smoke barrage. I have mediocre micro skillz but some of the ninjas on here are going to pwn larger vehicles with them.

Maybe Ostheer will get the Wespe and Soviets the su-122. You know, the Sherman Calliope hasnt made an entrance yet...

Lets hope the puma stays somewhat good. It has crap for AI and not a lot of health, but it has good mobility and a combination of good range-pen-and damage.

Id have preferred if more casters had a chance earlier, but its great that the community at large and Relic both share some trust innhim, and he can be the go-to guy for a reliable cast on whats coming at us.

T34 looses hard to puma now, so why would it be any different in case of OKW?

What's the point of OKW having 66% income? Just increase all the unit costs by 50% instead :/

i think in this way it reflects third reich's resource problem in late 1944 better than just having to pay more

I'd suggest that's a straightforward scaling issue. Easier to scale income that outgoings (a 450MP Volks unit?).

Because history, Germans in the late war had a lack of resources, but really good tanks and battle hardened veterans.
Lack of resources = less resources income.

When I did some matches Okw vs Soviets, püppchen in buildings countered m3 spam very effectively. It basically acts like a HMG, just with a rocket launcher.

Since you have Sturmpios to flank, sniper spam was also very risky for a soviet player. And pratically countered when somebody uses The Scavenge Doctrine or the Fallschirmjäger, since you can spawn them behind enemy lines.

Allies player have really to be aware of being flanked now. Since grenadiers hardly were ever good flankers they might not really used to flanks with potential squad wipes.

I wonder when we'll be allowed to talk fully about the new versus old factions?

For example, Wehr / US match-ups are really good fun, Wehr still stands up fine. And, even as a mirror-hater, US / Sovs is *awesome* good fun.

I dunno if I should say it is a nice choice or shit choice for choosing that game as the first cast, by Dane himself or Relic.

For the good side, it can be good for Relic marketing, because casting a long, stalling game can make more showcase.


HOWEVER,

Both side having a quite bad play, should dub it as MNF of the Western Front.

US side was doing a four rifles Stuart play, classic strat like vCOH 4 rifles m8, but sorry, it is a suicide strat in the meta during Alpha. Overproduce light howie & did not even tried to preserve the veteran crew of Stuart for the Jackson. That is disappointing.

The OKW was doing the same thing that I wanted to punch at the face at a Brit player, putting trucks at Base, DAFUG? It is like play Ostheer without Gren.
Look at the flak truck, not guarding anything, he didn't even use the medic truck for forword retreat, damn it. He is not using the greatest advantage of OKW.
Having large amount of Volks, is another bad strat choice, because they are so weak, and even not salvenging the wreck.

And look at how expensive and crappy of the panther (nerfed since March), this shit worth 175 fuel? Consider OKW 2/3 resource handicap, meh.

In average, or at least based on my experience, that game should be ended under 7 mins, that is US (4 Rifles Stuart) was completely slaughtered by OKW throat cutting strategy.

It's a show game Pory, FFS. A super-pro full of exploits seven minute match wouldn't really show much, would it?
