Volksgrenadier properly my favorite of all time ( even from COH1 ). I don't know, I have been a long time fan of " Cheap infantry " like : Ostruppen, Volksgrenadier, Partisans even most of the time they are weak as fuck ^^.

M8 Grey Hound seems to be a " counter blob " unit like the Stuart light tank of the British in COH1. I guess people will think twice with Grenadiers spam and shit now.

The M36 jackson for me it's feel like a tank that will follow Sherman behind and use it " T30E16 HVAP-T Armor Piercing Rounds " to take out enemy tank rather than acting as a " scope " to take out enemy target from long range. This make me feel like US players will have to depend on numbers of tank rather than " 1 man army " ( I mean they make some shit like 2 double Sherman vet 1 will be better when going together right ? )

Last but not list, I really really really really hope they change the King Tiger into a doctrine unit :(. and the KT right now is just sooooooooooooooo ******************

So nice... cold immunity? Sweet. They have a good frag of the type i enjoy using, which is now for Germans, and they build sandbags, whilst somehow having fuel salvaging. I believe ill be enjoying all OKW infantry.

Ikr? An actual grenade that every german soldier had, and we finally have a unit that uses it properly. OKW looks very promising. Im probably going to skip Americans for a few days as i play around with OKW, once WFA comes out.

Ah brilliant..finally a fulfilling unit profile.Looks very versatile...5 man.. durable..plus 1 shreck plus cold immunity..great.Salvaging is a little great bonus..if these guys decrew zis/maxims forget abt getting them back.
Best though is the thrown hand grenade and YES sandbags. Finally some fortifications around the damn truck.

Also like all the veterancies...no empty veterancy spots which only unlock ability ..and being available from t0 i suspect a number will reach vet 5.All round buffs to survivability and accuracy throughout the vet chain..both very imp for long range unit and especially one which will have a shreck.

But with better late game scalability due to the shreck and vet 5.

Imp factor to see will be how volks stack up against

a)conscripts

b)rifles before bars

c)How fast they die to bar rifles.

I feel vet 1 and its survivability buff maybe pretty imp for volks.

I'm interested to see if rifles have a stock grenade without veterancy(not AT grenade),if they don't vet 1 volks may have a reasonable chance of holding heir own against bar rifles behind sandbags with sturmpios preventing effective closing.Because usa doesn't seem to have flamers or mortars, greande would be required to overwhelm sandbag positions held in depth.

^^

Yep, the PzS is a very good addition.

I think simpson is going post rifles pretty soon- either today or tomorrow.

The rifles are going to outgun them in small arms firepower, and even more so if they have BARs/30 cal.

The veterancy says nothing about grenade so it's probably standard.

The Volksgrenadiers look very nice but they would be even better if the guy who did the VA for the Volks in CoH1 returned to do the voice work for the Volks in CoH2:WFA.

Also, unlike CoH1 Volksgrenadiers, these one's will actually be extremely good during late game and not useless cannon fodder.

The Rifle grenade does engine damage so it's like the Faust.

Pretty good...wonder how the pineapple grenade stands up to the stick grenade?

Reinforcement costs will also be important.

Looks to be offensive units with no defensive abilities like volks.AT grenade being rifle launched will probably have a limited minimal range..this will be elss effective than fausts or con grenades i feel.Becuase even at range won't vehicle move away once grenade fired...unless it homes in like panzerfaust.

I'm guessing these will be pretty strong right out..because vet 1 has no bonuses.Vet 2 survivability and maybe reload and only vet 3 accuracy. So veterancy is lot less extensive than volks who get survivability at vet 1 and accuracy and reload at vet 2.Plus healing and more survivability at vet 3 leaving aside the higher vet buffs.
But then again if given too many accuracy or survivability buffs in vet double bazooka rifles will be brutal.
