Well, apparently the m5 can reinforce fine with its entire cargo space filled with a quadmount machine gun, fat chance of realistically reinforcing from it. Why wouldnt a 251 flak truck that is its mirror not share this trait?

Wait till you see the damage this guy does to infantry before you judge it's utility.

So its even better than the m5 quadmount is what you are saying? (Just finding it strange why all infantry halftracks, regardless of its armament [excluding 250] can reinforce, and some 251's cannot reinforce like the other 251's)

IMO, i wouldnt call the 251 FHT the quadmount's mirror. It lacks AA as well as range, and i am a big fan of range with suppression.

EDIT: Just realized your WFA avatar, it looks awesome!

M8 Greyhound. I was surprised, I thought the M20 Utility Car completely replaced it, but it looks like he's not gone yet! And he's a stock unit!

Also is the top gunner upgradeable or inherent?Coz top gunner plus main gun..thats very good AI if we take canister with it.It also has a 37 mm cannon,so not a slouch vs light/medium vehicles i bet.

Its no puma; its not going to take any tank on. Light armor counters light armor and infantry, OKW have lots of both.

Yeah m8 looks really great unit...MG plus main gun ,plus canister vs infantry.
And i think it will beat flak halftrack ..though not any tank.Overall more utility than m20 for sure.Veterancies are a bit meh though.

One thing to note it doesn't have vehicle decrew...

So some Americans vehicles can decrew and some dont? Its either all one or all the other. I was actually relieved when i thought there was only a m20; i didnt like the m8, and i can predict future rage for it. I thought bad memories shouldnt be repeated.

I wouldnt think anything is being replaced.

Might be some changes they are making with the warspoils system and call ins, making them come out of buildings, being tech dependent. Just a guess.

The M8 only concerns me because if it's T2, Ostheer has no counter, if it's T3, it might suffer T-70 syndrome (great unit, but nobody wants it when StuG's are on the prowl).

Thanks for spotting that, it's an oversight. It's been updated. (The blog not the vehicle).
