Hi everyone, my name is John, 29 years old, originally from England but now live in China.
I have been playing RTS games since the original C&C and played all of the games in that series and also modded them. It took me a long time to discover CoH, but when I did, I absolutely loved it. It was pretty much everything I had been wanting in a RTS title.
I'm quite bad at this game but I do enjoy playing it. I'm slowly getting better. I look forward to picking up some tips from you guys and watching your replays.

Welcome! Make sure to watch some of the popular streamers on the home page, especially 1v1s, to get a feel for build orders/micro/mechanics. Its tough to get a hang of it competitively but we all were there at one point

Privet John, or should I say 白俊成...?! I recommend watching streams as well to improve, as you'll see how other players control their units. I especially recommend Twisters stream.

I'd love to watch some streams, but the internet here sucks. I get to watch like three seconds or so before waiting for it to buffer for three hours. I have resorted to downloading videos from Twitch and watching them locally, but they usually don't have any commentary.

Ah thats unfortunate, its tough these days since so few people make recorded content in the CoH community compared to streaming these days. I think the popular channels that still make recorded commentary are A_E and atr3uh from what I can remember

The name was given to me by a Chinese girl. 白 means white, 俊 means handsome, and 成 is success. I've used it ever since, it's more interesting than the Chinese translation of my English name, 约翰.
