Still think vehicles having different damage was a nice thing. 240dmg on the IS-2 was awesome. Why change it to 160dmg?
Probably to reduce its squad wiping potential but maintaining its damage vs armour with a faster reload

KV-1 does in fact have the same gun as the T34, meaning it has the same changes the T34 got to its main gun.

Panther gets only 10% more armor (instead of 30%) and + 160 health (the now standard health of the Panther) at vet2.

In other words Panther veterancy is shit especially vs better Russian tanks now.

My main problem is that it appears flanking appears to remain unrewarding for T-34s vs P4s and the like... Sigh...Why would you flank if most shots go through the Panthers front anyway? What was it before? Half the shots of the Su-85 went through, now most russian guns have more penetration and the Panther gets less armor at vet2. The thing is just a larger Panzer IV now. Strange, the Panther was infamous for its frontal armor. -.-

Panthers have every advantage a tank could want in the current patch. High armor, fast movement, high damage, long range, and excellent veteran bonuses. A change was seriously in order, and it can now be soft countered by a variety of methods. SU-85 should have a chance at putting the hurt on it if it assaults from the front. The thing may as well have been a star cruiser at Vet 3.

German MG42 and DSHK: Does that mean, MG42 ability still gives the flat penetration bonus?
I wonder how much loss of penetration the PAK43 will suffer. I would guess almost nothing, taking into account that it smashes through buildings and I would hope so. But why would they then reduce the Pen from 400 to 340? With 340 being the highest armor soviets have. If it would always penetrate they could've let it at 400.
Reararmor hits get a indication now! YEAH! I was always for this For me this is the change that improves tank combat the most xD

Arty nerfs were also unnecessary, spending that much MP on arty in 1v1 or 2v2 is a totally legit strat which is countered by lots of commander abilities.

why the stug III G will have to be better against infantry? it is not his role...its role is tank hunters! the assault gun is in case the stug III E
as it will be more powerful against the t34 if the same has taken better armor and armor penetration and the stug lost it?

I am still confused on the role of the su-76M... no one is going to buy it just for the free barrages. Its current pen is the same as the t34/76 and it carries the ZiS-3 gun. I don't know where it will fit.

I read just now that the T34/76 has the same damage of 'is2, but it's a joke?
ok the is2 has twice the penetration but has no sense...

The SU-76 was already made out of paper and wasn't already deflecting any AT shots, so I'd say the armor decrease doesn't really make much difference in terms of gameplay. They did significantly decrease the scatter angle and distance though, which leads me to believe that it'll hit infantry much more consistently. I guess that's offset by the cost increase, which I'm not crazy about for something that flimsy.
