Huh, good question.

I'm looking forward to it...except the Boeing 777 part getting there and back. I'm sure it's fine.

Birmingham is also a little grim I'm afraid - don't expect the prettiness of Bovington or the glamour of London etc. with a bit of luck you'll just see the hotel and exhibition centre. Hope you have a good time all the same.

I was there a few years ago for a UK Gamesday to show Space Marine. I've lived on the downtown Eastside of Vancouver. Once you've seen a street person take a crap at a crowded bus stop, nothing phases you.

Not to imply Birmingham is anything like that :)

So even if you replace the concrete flyovers with soaring mountains people are still miserable and degraded? (Crosses Vancouver off to do list)

Birmingham will be a breath of fresh motor fumes then. If you do have a half day I would recommend a quick trip out of the city - Warwick Castle is a fairly complete fortification and has a full size Trebuchet which fires flaming balls of pitch - or there is Stratford upon Avon also within a short drive if you fancy something less cultured

I'm in Dunbar but I love the DTES drives on a warm Friday night to put some reality into why I went to school, and why I work.

I wish I'd have that kind of time. Arrive Thursday night, leave Saturday morning. I'll probably get to experience the Pret a Manger in Heathrow Terminal 3 and that's about it.

+1 last mission: micro enola gaye to Hiroshima and drop the bomb. but i would like to see a single player campaign as the germans first. you are Sonderkommando SS Dirlewanger on their wacky and fun adventures across eastern Europe.
