Well internet strangers a full year has passed and I'm about as awful at this game as when I first started. I picked up 1 v 1'ing again after the June patch to try and redeem my double digit losing streak as Wehrmacht and I am having success. I'm running a ratio W/L ratio of 1:1 which (for me) is pretty decent (no, my player card is not updating).
I'd encourage any players who have never attempted a 1 v 1 game to try now as Wehrmacht. With the MG42 changes you have the advantage of a pretty decent crutch while you learn to play. I would recommend this game mode over the larger ones for now...
