I found out recently that this ability shows the location of enemy mines!

Am I the only one who thinks this is completely ridiculous?

As in shows where the mine is being created via minimap ping or physically shows them on the screen after they are finished?

Shows where mines are planted via a minimap ping on completion. Such a good ability that was relegated to some lack luster commanders until recently.

If its via minimap ping, I don't really care.

Can't wait for first post saying "nerf radio intercept" or "radio intercept is OP".

Don't you think that complaining about intelligence ability giving intelligence is kind of void?

That is a very strong ability that goes underused. Radio Intercept is awesome, those poor germans just cant make their codes uncrackable. lol

The point is how much intelligence should be given.

No one complained about this ability before because it was attached to some pretty mediocre other abilities, which provided balance. Now that it is in arguably the best soviet doctrine, it's natural to question its balance, no?

there is such a thing as giving too much intelligence, especially considering its a 0 cp ability. its arguably the best 0 cp ability in the game since it has no cost, no drawbacks (other than you only get 4 usable doctrinal abilities) and it lasts the entire game (no cooldown or anything). it used to just be in shit doctrines, so no one cared.

I totally agree with you.

They should make it remove the fog of war.

And tell you what the enemy plans to build even before he knows it.

@Aurgelwulf:
Well, if you are talking about the S-mine field... who needs radio intel about it, it has warningsigns.^^

Edit: A long long time ago there was already a thread about the Issue with mines, and I still have the same feeling. But back then nobody cared, because nobody used the doctrine. Yeah I am a minority.

Radio intercept is a pure hack, its like having a wall hack for FPS.

It should be 40% chance to intercept.

And 60% chance that you get false information ?

Radio intercept is good as it is, no need for a change in my opinion.

What about interrogation then?
It shows ALL units for some time and even shows what is where, buildings included.
According to your logic and comparisons, using interrogation should be banable offense.

This thread goes full retard even faster then I imagined and only confirms that this community will bitch about anything and everything.

Whats next? combat engineers OP at 210mp?
