Sniper Flare too expensive?

Soviet sniper flare costs 60 muni currently. Its a good way to get vision in the blizzard but 60 muni is a bit too much. 40 could be good imo.

It really isn't worth the cost. Especially considering a recon run is bigger, can be called in anywhere, and lasts far longer for only 20 more munitions.

I know it's not really the best to compare these two abilities considering ones doctrinal and ones a unit abiility, but the fact that it is never used is telling.

The ability does need work, I play snipers very often and I always consider using this ability but decide it's just not worth it.

I'd like to see it get it price slashed, if it becomes just too good reduce the time or the are of effect on it but don't increase the price. As a touchstone think if this.... you can get a mine for 30 munitions... mines WTF!

Sounds reasonable. Anything below sounds really cheap as I think this ability should not be spammable.

My main problem with the sniper flare is not the cost though, it`s the fact it works during blizzards which defies laws of physics.

at least soviet sniper have flare stop complain about it, and it is better than recon runs in my eyes, because it gives you stable vision to call in off map strikes. too many times i click call in off map strikes the vision of recon run out and it didn't register. then i clicked some where else it start using my call in off map strikes on some where no one is there or on top of my own unit

You missed the point: there's an almost unused feature in the game because players don't consider it worth while. A price decrease could make up for it (partially?).

Too high for what it does. 30-45 should be fine. I mean, i prefer having a nade or mine instead of the sight.
