When will we see an optimization patch?

We all agree that CoH2 performs like crap on high end rigs now I am not sure why you guys not bother about it at Relic. Take your "coworkers" in CA for example they launched Rome2 and we all know it was a miserable fail..... But week after week they not only fix bugs and introduce balance changes but they also optimize the game at the same time.... What we got from relic is only balance changes and DLC commanders. So I want to know not "when" the game will be better optimized but IF anyone in Relic even looks into it.. Don`t get me wrong I am happy with what you do around the balance, fine even DLC`s don`t really bother my, I will buy them (cause I can?). But seriously guys do something about the poor performance of the game. It`s hard I know but its not freaking impossible.

Disabling replays does give you an FPS increase but that's not exactly a good solution.

Yeah I kinda still want to have replays after each game to analyze =)

While I agree with you about everything, I just point that using CA as example of how things shoul be done is not a good idea.
Rome II last "improvement" patch fucked up completely the multiplayer and right now the game it is completely unplayable on multi or coop.

The main point of showing CA as an example is because they both work under SEGA and those guy at least try to improve the optimization issue ( which is basically the main subject of the thread). Also its not like Rome 2 had a great multiplayer even before the patch.... Shogun 2 multiplayer was much better and much interesting but thats not the point now isn`t it =)

I've played soooo many other games which look a lot better than COH2 and run like butter. This game has been giving me performance issues since day 1. It'd be cool if Relic sought to make a performance patch.
I can personally vouch for Rome 2. The performance was horrendous in the beginning but now it's SOOO much better. Sure the game may have its issues but on the performance front they've gained a LOT of ground. Can't be so hard for Relic to do the same considering Rome 2 patches came every 2 weeks, if not 1?
Also guys, the replay disabling thing you're talking about. It's where you disable write permissions to the playback folder right?

Optimization + input lag and generally making sure the game runs and plays smoothly should be imho priority over balance-patching. Yet it seems the focus is entirely on balance... so I`m glad to see this topic posted.
