Somebody asked, what the point of reporting ppl. in coh2 is, when coh3 is on the horizon. He got a reply that bans carry over allegedly to coh3.

I hope not, call me naïve but I think people can change. I've been accused of being a hacker and I wear that badge with honor (obviously its not true) that i'm that good that people see that.

If you were permabanned in one Relic game from multiplayer for being toxic pos or cheater, you are banned from all of them.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

As Katitof stated, it's in their policy so I do hope they will adhere to that.
We do not need 'your friend' and his banned behavior in any online game whatsoever.

I mean, I share the feelings about cheaters, but I also believe in rehabilitation.
Given bans can easily be circumvented by buying a new copy and making a new account, I say good riddance.

That guy who gave the reply was me and permanent bans definitely carry over. Maybe not at day 1 or even month 1 but as soon as Relic went over the old ban-lists or the banned people revealed themselves and got reported again
