I hope the code is made from scratch
So we dont get BS like hardcoded veto counts or replays that behave as a match happening again rather than as a video, or deathloops, or unit UI disappearing

COH 3 is using the same Engine as COH1/COH2. Would be nice if COH3 had an engine like Ashes of the Singularity.

Well when all is said and done COH's engine is generally amazingly good for the tactical 3D-cover fights it offers. If there's one thing that should not change, it's the engine.

AoE IV and CoH 3 used the same Engine aka Essence Engine 5.
CoH 2 used Essence Engine 3 and DoW 3 Essence Engine 4.
I hope Microsoft and Sega money served to game engine code modernization and optimization. 🙏

Well, I highly doubt it. There were many complaints on EoA4 about poor optimization and that the game only uses one core in the processor.

Ian Thompson (Group technical director at Relic):
[...] we've done a lot of work in order to embrace and to utilize multi-core systems. So there's been work done not just to our simulation but also to our physics and rendering systems to be able to spread more work across those cores, so that we're really able to leverage those cores for faster frame rates and higher fidelity [...]
