first; I 'dDon't think a 4th man will make the Major a AI combat-worthy unit.
second; 3-man Major with zooks and sprint is scary for your tanks.

Don't think the unit needs a change.

Yeah, like they will not get 1 shotted by P4 lol, or 1 shot drops 2 models and inf/top mounted mg finishes the last one.

I've always been a proponent of the double BARs Major so a 4th man at vet III seems reasonable. Particularly important when you need him for the 50 sight range at vet I and fwd retreat points are asking for LeFHs/rocket arty/[Insert deth of your choice].

Nah Sturm Offizer is perfect where he is. Amazingly good abilities priced just right (insta retreat of mg for 60 muni for example) and decent Veterancy. All in all a great squad.

Major is good in a whole other way, since he is supposed to stand back and be a rally point/order artillery.

My allies like to use the major to retreat to the same spot over and over as the enemy drops call ins and rocket arty on them.

I do wish the cool down on the retreat point ability wasn't so long though.

Lol I know since most of the time I do that too when I play against USF.

Some people just cannot grasp that anything static in COH2 is DOA.

Relic seem failed to grasp this when they design ufk.

On the subject, i dont see any harm in allowing Major to buy a 4th man, for around 30 muni.

The help text can be something like "Major doesn't feel safe so he request a better security detail".

I have no problem with that since clearly nothing major is going to change (get it? pun).

just buffing some targeting bonus with captain(V2 29% bonus) as same as Lieutenant(V1 10% + V2 29%) is enough for major.

Hi,

you just speak in an Axis community, they will say that the major is up because he has a recon and an artillery xD
During this time OKW have free Heavy tank without commander,

This game is for kids who play Axis x), that's bad but that's staff decided..
