I'm a big fan of how Relic is adding more information to the squad UI for players to see at a glance more about how a squad performs its task.

However, I think that there should also be an option for players outside of a match to see how a unit performs.

Enter the Unit Encyclopedia, a feature from Men of War that I am a big fan of.

I know I've mentioned it elsewhere a few times, but now that CoH3 has its own forum category I think this deserves its own post as well.

So, what is the Unit Encyclopedia?

Well, it's a way for the player to view the stats of any squad, unit, and weapon's information (populated from the game's data itself) in a fashion that is readable and understandable.

For an example, say you wanted to know the sight range of the pioneer squad without having to go into the mod tools or using a special map.

You could enter the Unit Encyclopedia, filter by german squads, and select the pioneer squad, which would bring up a visual representation of the squad's models and weapons, along with the stats that are specific to that squad.

In addition to this, you could click on the individual models to see specifics about that entity, or you could click on the weapon to see the weapon's stats/ profile. Hopefully with a DPS chart like serelia's.
