How to test the new patch beta with cheat mode?

I've switched the game version to beta and wanted to test some of the new abilities/units, however I got no luck getting into game with both CheatCommandMod and CheatCommandMod2, the game always crashs at 1/5 of the loading.

I've seen balance team member showing screenshots that could only achieved by using the mod to spawn multiple heavies. Is there a way that we can test the beta with the cheat mode?

Maybe they run a stable version and you're just unlucky.
Another way would be to just create a mod yourself that incorporates the changes of the preview, and then start a game with this mod and cheat commands enabled.

I had no issues using the cheatcommands2 mod on the beta version. I used the VP setup.

Ah, I was using the no victory condition one. With the VP winning condition I can get into the game now, much thanks!

KoRneY: @aerafield It's possible that it is underpriced for what it is capable of now, no need to go full retard and take it immediately as a massive problem. It costs 60 more MP than a pz.3 and in 2v2 the barrage can be quite strong.

Rosbone: But this last patch has made good progress for grabbing players. All we can hope is Coh3 gets to Coh2s quality level before everyone abandons the franchise. Its Relic so they will completely f*%k it up as usual. But its a hope/cope.
