They can´t miss their target, so light vehicles get killed to fast, compared to other at weapons

Just like schreks getting ptrs on penals is still a meme because you are basically throwing away very AI capable unit for a slight change to bully or kill LV in the early game. Not only do you have to pay for nerfing your own army, this squad will continue to bleed MP throughout the rest of the game running after tanks compared to AT guns that do not have to get in range. If the player is really 5head he will have multiple of these "upgraded" units fighting vs opponents units and will continue to bleed tremendously.
I want to thank every soviet player ever who has upgraded ptrs on penals on behalf of my lmg grens.

Because upgrade working exactly as intended most certainly isn't a problem.

Its just unfair that shreks and bazooka can miss 50% of the time on light vehicles, while a 222 gets melted in one volley, cause ptrs can´t miss

Its also "just unfair" that bazooka and shreck can murder med tank frontally without much of an issue, while PTRS will deal only tiny chip damage.
And no, 222 can't be killed in 1 volley by 1 PTRS squad.
Not even in 2.
Stop using light vehicles against PTRS units.

Light vehicle counter counters light vehicles.... RELIC FIX YOUR DAMN GAME.
But for real... You are trading penals AI for AT, in the same way that pgrens trade theirs, only you don't have the bundled nade or capacity to deal 240 damage to a tank in a second from the front... If the enemy went T1 and you see penals, I would advise strongly against trying to YOLO a LV around without any support.

That's a lot of manpower... What are you doing with yours? If ost build a sniper. If he's spamming PTRS and for some reason nuking his mobile AI for nothing then he won't be able to chase. Shock troops also do poorly against snipers.
MGs also work. Supporting one another incase they smoke.
Force off the PTRS then target shocks with LVs.
Withoit a replay we cant help properly however.

current state of ptrs is effective against lights and mediums.
i agree the ptrs rof against lv is too fast.
shreks will miss lv and then they starts reloading....
what is the range of ptrs? can we reduce the range or accruacy against lv?
