Let german snipers clear buildings

Make the miss rate 25%, or even 0%. While the flamer and mortar buff vs. garrison is nice, flamers are now really fragile even with vet, and mortars are rng reliant. Right now building a german sniper is basically only a good idea vs elite infantry. It should be a viable choice in the first 5 minutes.

Lol, no. Not only is this bad idea gameplay-wise, it also makes no sense, since hiding inside a house seems like a legit way of preventing getting shot by a sniper. Unless some dummy peaks out of the window, which the 50% chance we have now represents more than well.

Houses maybe should be providing a bit less protection to the garrisoned infantry in general though.

What? Flamers are much better now than they were before. Not only do they do more damage, the risk of getting blown up on death is reduced by 50 percent!

Anyway, building a sniper early is viable now with the 500 starting man power update. There are some maps that really favor this opening, such as minks pocket, langreskaya, moscow outskirst etc. The sniper is less viable on maps like semois or road to kharkov, but that's oke, skilled players know which units perform better on certain maps.

not any more with the way snipers are it would make houses almost useless.

I was thinking, what about snipers doing some regular damage to units in buildings? Instead of instant kill, they apply small but constant damage from afar?

It would probably be still too much. Buildings are supposed to be a big obstacle that you need the right tools to clear, and if you want long range building clearing, you get a mortar which now does extra damage.
