Hi to all of you!
I've created a Boys AT rifle drop off ability for the british, but when commandos or other unit rather than tommyes (and with anim fails) pick it up, the weapon becomes invisible!
how to make the Boys rifle usable by other units?
Thanks in advice!

Each infantry model has an .abp file with a few weapons. Only those weapons are visible. So you need to add the Boys to the .abp of the commandos.

The floating magazine bug can happen when you have multiple weapons in the .abp file. You could remove some weapons that you know you won't use on that entity but apart from that there is not much you can do about that as far as I know.
If your weapon is applyed by a slot_item then in the slot_item you can change the value of drop_rate to a value you would like.

Changing the order fixed the floating magazine for me, I moved the Lee Enfield before the Boys:
"..\..\weapons\rifle_lee_enfield\rifle_lee_enfield",
"..\..\weapons\boys_at_rifle\boys_at_rifle",
"..\..\weapons\rifle_lee_enfield\rifle_lee_enfield",
"..\..\weapons\boys_at_rifle\boys_at_rifle",
